WOOSTER, Ohio, March 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wayne Savings Bancshares, Inc. (OTCQX:WAYN), (the “Company”), the holding company parent of Wayne Savings Community Bank (the “Bank”), has declared a cash dividend increase of $0.01 to $0.11 per share of the Company’s common stock for the quarter ending March 31, 2018. This represents an increase of 22% from the March 31, 2017 dividend of $0.09. The quarterly cash dividend will be paid on April 25, 2018 to stockholders of record as of April 11, 2018. “We are pleased to announce an increased dividend to our shareholders and remain committed to cultivating sustained shareholder value. We believe our long-term plan of enhancing value through dividends, share buybacks and prudent, profitable growth will serve shareholders well,” said President and CEO James R. VanSickle.
