WOOSTER, Ohio, Dec. 21, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wayne Savings Bancshares, Inc. (OTCQX:WAYN), (the “Company”), the holding company parent of Wayne Savings Community Bank (the “Bank”), has declared a cash dividend of $0.16 per share of the Company’s common stock for the quarter ending December 31, 2018. The quarterly cash dividend will be paid on January 23, 2019 to stockholders of record as of January 9, 2019. “Today’s dividend increase reflects our solid financial performance and strong capital position,” said President and CEO James R. VanSickle. “We are pleased to reward our shareholders with a fourth dividend increase over the last five quarters.” At September 30, 2018, Wayne Savings Bancshares, Inc. reported total assets of $471.5 million, deposits of $373.7 million, and stockholders’ equity of $43.2 million, or 9.17% of total assets.
