The investment bank said it's optimistic about Vaxart's ( VXRT ) differentiated oral vaccine platform, particularly its vaccine candidates for norovirus and COVID-19. It noted that oral vaccines could offer better solutions for infectious diseases like norovirus. Oppenheimer sees the norovirus market as highly attractive and worth around $5B to $10B. It added that it doesn't view a recent setback for an intramuscular norovirus vaccine being developed by HilleVax ( HLVX ) as negatively reading across to Vaxart's ( VXRT ) program.
