Virpax Pharmaceuticals, a preclinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on developing novel and proprietary drug delivery systems across various pain indications, raised $5.0 million through the sale of shares of common stock and pre-funded warrants at a public offering price of $0.50 per share. The company intends to use the proceeds for ongoing activities, including its planned Investigational New Drug (IND) filing for its patented injectable “local anesthetic” liposomal technology, Probudur™, aimed at post-operative pain management.
