Web3 games mark a notable departure from Web2 in that they allow players to own, trade, and interact with digital assets on the blockchain. These assets can include characters, items, and land. For these games to run smoothly and provide a seamless user experience, they require robust, efficient access to blockchain data, which necessitates an integration with rapid node deployment. Every time a game server requests data from an external service, there's a round-trip network delay. Slow responses from databases, authentication servers, or third-party APIs can cause bottlenecks on the game server. Delays in loading player data or authenticating sessions block the game server, slowing down gameplay, leading to timeouts, and, notably, damaging the user experience.
