"Shadows" se estrena el jueves, y es la decimocuarta entrega de la saga. El escenario ha sido desarrollado en 3D, con ciudades fortificadas y majestuosos templos. "Han hecho un trabajo realmente asombroso, muy preciso en la reconstrucción", se entusiasma Pierre-François Souyri, historiador francés especialista en Japón y consultor del juego. La empresa francesa creadora del juego, Ubisoft, contrató una decena de expertos e historiadores, principalmente franceses y japoneses, para acercarse lo más posible a la realidad histórica y evitar clichés y anacronismos. Souyri explica que fue contactado en el otoño de 2021, y que desde entonces ha respondido a "un buen centenar de preguntas" de los creadores, que abarcan desde cómo se obtenía sal en aquella época hasta los espectáculos de marionetas. "Como es un período muy agitado", marcado por numerosos conflictos, "no es muy difícil inventar en medio de todo esto personajes a quienes les ocurren aventuras", subraya el historiador.
