United States Antimony: 'Department Of Defense Put' To Rescue Share Prices Summary U.S Antimony has a mopoly on U.S production and was recently awarded a materially large grant from the Department of Defense to potentially source a U.S military stockpile. Around 90% of Antimony (used in electronics and bullets) comes from the People's Republic of China which t only threatened to cut supply but also is running out of supply. Despite historically very low antimony prices, the company has managed to financially breakeven due to profits from its precious metals and zeolite mining. While it is an extremely volatile $35M company, the U.S government cant afford for it to have financial difficulties and is acting to protect it. If antimony prices rise and the company manages to increase capacity, returns on its stock could be significant.
