TotalEnergies is launching 221 MW of new battery energy storage systems developed by Kyon Energy in Germany, where the Company already has 100 MW under construction.Most of these batteries will be supplied by Saft, TotalEnergies’ affiliate specialized in advanced battery technology, particularly in renewables.TotalEnergies’ German project pipeline amounts to 13 GW1 of renewables and 2 GW of battery capacity, contributing to its strategy to develop an integrated portfolio.
