Associated Press South Korea's Hyundai Motor Group, controlled by billionaire , unveiled Tuesday a $21 billion investment plan to boost manufacturing in the U.S., a week before U.S. President Donald Trump is set to introduce new tariffs on trading partners. Hyundai Chairman Chung joined Trump at the White House to announce the company's largest ever U.S. investment. The investment, through 2028, includes a $5.8 billion new steel plant in Louisiana, which will have an annual production capacity of more than 2.7 million metric tons and create over 1,400 jobs. The plant will supply steel to Hyundai's auto factories in Alabama and Georgia. Of the total, Hyundai will pour $9 billion to expand the annual production capacity of its vehicles, under the brands of Hyundai, Kia and Genesis, in the U.S. T
