NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 18, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Truxton Corporation (OTCPK: TRUX), the parent company for Truxton Trust Company (“Truxton” or “the Bank”) and subsidiaries, announced its operating results for the quarter ended June 30, 2019. Second quarter net income attributable to common shareholders was $2.5 million or $0.90 per diluted share compared to $2.0 million or $0.74 per diluted share for the same quarter in 2018. Net income rose by 23% for the quarter while earnings per share rose by 22%. For the six months ended June 30, 2019, net income increased by 24% to $4.7 million from $3.8 million in the comparable period in 2018.
