At the event, the company said it expects adjusted free cash flow between $18B and $19B in 2027, service revenue between $75B and $76B, and core adjusted EBITDA between $38B and $39B. The telecom giant said it would hit 12 million mobile broadband customers by 2028 and plans to return up to $50B to stockholders through 2027 via buybacks and dividend payouts. "We came away incrementally positive on the company and the wireless industry and more negative on cable, given its updated FWA target of 12M by 2028 vs. the prior 7.5M by 2025 and healthy pricing. Negatively, 2025 guidance was a touch disappointing as it loses Dish's revenue," Oppenheimer said in its September 19 report. They reiterated TMUS as their top long-term pick in communications. Morgan Stanley thinks guidance updates were constructive, including service revenue growing at a ~5% CAGR over 2023-2027.
