Most Read from Bloomberg Toyota Motor Corp., the world's largest carmaker by delivery, sank as much as 4% in Tokyo, while Honda Motor Co., which gets more than half its revenue from North America, lost about 3%. Nissan Motor Co. retreated 3.5%, while Mazda Motor Corp. slid more than 5%. Automakers were the worst performers on the Topix index. Concerns over US tariffs have kept Japanese carmaker shares under pressure, with the Topix Transportation Equipment index underperforming the broader gauge this year. With automobile and auto parts being Japan's biggest export products to the US, accounting for more than a third of total shipments, the tariffs is also raising worries over the impact on the broader economy.
