Upon deal completion, New Jersey-based Richards will become part of TE's Industrial Solutions segment and is expected to contribute about $400 million to annual sales, according to a release. The deal is expected to close by the end of June. Richards has generated strong revenue growth in recent years selling underground distribution equipment to customers replacing older infrastructure.
