(Nasdaq: STKH) (“Steakholder” or the “Company”), a leading innovator in alternative proteins production and 3D printing technologies, announced today that the Company's Board of Directors has approved the purchase of up to $1 million in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency tracking indices. "As demand for cryptocurrencies grows and so does their acceptance as an asset class, we believe that Bitcoin, or a diversified basket of cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, will serve as strong treasury reserve assets for the Company," said Arik Kaufman, CEO of Steakholder Foods.
