Billionaire Charoen's Frasers Property, Sekisui House To Build Singapore Luxury Condo [Forbes]

Frasers Property —controlled by Thai billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi —has partnered with Japan's Sekisui House to redevelop a serviced apartment along the Singapore River into a luxury residential condominium. The property—which sits on a 9,103-square-meter site in Robertson Walk, near the Raffles Place central business district— will be redeveloped into a mixed use residential and retail complex, according to Frasers Property. “In line with Frasers Property's active asset management strategy, we have identified this opportunity to unlock the highest and best use returns for our prime 999-year site in the heart of Robertson Quay,” Soon Su Lin, CEO of Frasers Property Singapore, said in a statement Frasers Property will own 51% of the project, while Sekisui House will hold the rest.
