Flying Singapore Airlines First Class Is Worth It Just For The Champagne Singapore Airlines tops the rankings of the world’s best airlines premium cabins innovative cuisine non-stop flights The in-flight experience aboard the Asian carrier became even more exciting this week, however, with news that it is now serving not one, not two, but three of the world’s finest champagnes in first class In addition to the Dom Pérignon and Krug Grande Cuvée fliers have come to expect, first-class passengers will now also be able to sample Taittinger Comtes de Champagne. The airline’s wine panel, including experts Jeannie Cho Lee Comtes de Champagne is only produced in the best years and is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown in five of Taittinger’s Grand Crus vineyards. It is then aged for between eight and 10 years before being released. The new champagne will first appear on flights from Singapore to Auckland, Beijing, Delhi, Dubai, Melbourne, Mumbai, Seoul, Shanghai, Sydney and Tokyo
