Siemens Energy extends contract of chief executive Christian Bruch [Yahoo! Finance]

The German energy technology company announced that Bruch would stay on until April 2030, following a supervisory board meeting in Munich on Wednesday. "Christian Bruch has led Siemens Energy through turbulent times during his first term of office," said Supervisory Board Chairman Joe Kaeser in a statement. "Bruch and his team have raised the conventional business to new levels and stopped the existential decline of the wind business," he said, referring to the turbine-maker subsidiary Gamesa. "The first effects of this are already visible and the planned return of the wind business to profitability from 2026 will complete one of the largest restructuring projects in Siemens history."
