Beyoncé fans drive up Texans ticket prices after Christmas halftime performance announced [USA TODAY]

following the announcement that she'll perform during the NFL Christmas game between the Ravens and Texans. The Texans and the Grammy-winning singer revealed that Queen Bey will hit the stage during halftime of the Baltimore vs, Houston game at NRG Stadium on Christmas Day. Immediately following the announcement, fans were searching for tickets. According to a representative for Vivid Seats , a ticket exchange and resale company, traffic to the page for the Texas and Ravens game spiked 713% on Sunday. Meanwhile traffic to the Houston Texans page spiked 218%. Ticket prices also saw a drastic increase with the average list price jumping 40% overnight, from $378 to $528. Of course, the performance will take place in Beyoncé's hometown of Houston. The H-Town gig, produced by her company Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment, will be the first live performance of songs from her highly acclaimed album " Cowboy Carter."
