Signs at the store also confirm the swap. The 12,500-square-foot store opened in 1999. In Mississippi, Shoe Station locations include Flowood, Meridian, Jackson, D'iberville and Gulfport and Hattiesburg. A former Shoe Carnival in Southaven is currently being converted to a Shoe Station. Shoe Carnival, based in Evansville, Indiana, acquired Mobile, Alabama-based Shoe Station in late 2021. In its recent earnings report, Shoe Carnival said it plans to convert another 175 stores to its Shoe Station brand in the coming two years. It had previously announced plans to convert 25 Shoe Carnivals. Shoe Carnival operates a total of 431 stores — 346 Shoe Carnivals, 57 Shoe Stations brand, and 28 Rogan's.
