The notes will be issued as a reopening of, and will be part of the same series as, the 7.75% convertible senior notes due 2027 that the company originally issued in June 2022, of which $207.4M aggregate principal amount is currently outstanding. The offering is expected to close on October 11, 2024. Redwood ( RWT ) estimates that the net proceeds it will receive from the offering will be ~$38.2M. Net proceeds will be used to repurchase a portion of the currently outstanding 5.75% exchangeable senior notes due 2025 previously issued by one of its subsidiaries. The stock price traded marginally higher, up 1.2% on Wednesday during after hours of trade.
