Revance rose 3.7% in premarket trading. Shares of Revance ( RVNC ) tumbled as much as 17% on Monday, though pared the decline to 9% as investors feared that a delayed tender offer could mean that there may be no deal. Investors were concerned as Crown Labs missed a Friday deadline to start its tender offer for Revance. "Based on the company's email, we view the missed September 13th deadline to launch the tender offer as a delay and continue to expect the deal to complete," Mizuho analyst Uy Ear, who has a neutral rating on Revance, wrote in a note on Monday. "That said we believe the absence of an explanation from the company for not launching the tender offer will be an overhang on the stock." Crown Labs, which agreed to acquire Revance Therapeutics ( RVNC for $6.66 a share in cash l ast month, was expected to start a tender offer by a Friday deadline, according to an 8-K filing from Aug. 28.
