The Airbus A220-300 jet with 74 passengers aboard was flying from Bucharest to Zurich when it had to land in Graz, Austria. Two crew members remain in hospital, Swiss said, including one in intensive care. "The initial findings point to a technical problem in one of the engines," made by Pratt & Whitney, the airline said in a statement. It added that the cause had not been conclusively determined. "We continue to operate flights with the A220 because... we have no indication that the safety of the aircraft type is in question." In 2023, Swiss had been forced to temporarily ground part of its A220 fleet to inspect reliability problems with its Pratt & Whitney engines. vog/js/rlp The Barron's news department was not involved in the creation of the content above.
