Most of February’s most expensive home sales were in beachfront Florida, with properties in Southern California and Manhattan rounding out the list SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--(NASDAQ: RDFN) — Coastal Florida was home to seven of the 10 highest-priced U.S. home sales of February, according to a new report from Redfin (redfin.com), the technology-powered real estate brokerage. Two estates in Southern California and one penthouse in New York City rounded out the list. All sold for more than $30 million, and the top three sold for $40 million or more.While Florida residents have been grappling with soaring insurance costs and intensifying natural disasters, the state is still a magnet for wealthy Americans.
