18.7% of survey respondents have gotten in a disagreement with a neighbor over politics, including 27.1% of men and 13.4% of women SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--(NASDAQ: RDFN) — Nearly one in five (18.7%) people have gotten in a disagreement with a neighbor over politics, with men more than twice as likely to get into a dispute than women, according to a new report from Redfin (redfin.com), the technology-powered real estate brokerage.More than one in four men (27.1%) said they had been in a political disagreement with a neighbor, compared to 13.4% of women.This is according to a Redfin-commissioned survey conducted by Ipsos in September 2024. The survey was fielded to 1,802 people aged 18-65.Nearly a quarter (23.1%) of respondents who said they are voting for Donald Trump have gotten into a political disagreement with a neighbor, compared to 19.5% of respondents voting for Kamala Harris.Question: Have you gotten in a disagreement with a neighbor over politics?
