McDonald's is America's favorite fast-food restaurant , with people searching for the Illinois-based chain on the internet in more states than any other establishment. That's according to a study conducted by a commercial restaurant furniture manufacturer based on regional average monthly internet searches. Restaurant Furniture used Google search data over a 12-month period to determine the average monthly searches. McDonald's led the way with more than 14.8 million monthly searches across the country, according to the data. "The average monthly search volume over the past 12 months was analyzed to rank states by the frequency of these searches," a representative for the manufacturer told Fox News Digital. People in 22 states searched for McDonald's more than any other fast-food restaurant chain, the data revealed.
