offloading (FPSO) vessel in the pre-salt layer of the Jubarte field within the Campos Basin, offshore Brazil. The FPSO has a production capacity of up to 100,000boepd and can process up to five million cubic metres (mcm) of gas daily. Operated by Petrobras, the vessel measures 156m in height, 333m in length and is installed in a water depth of 1,385m. In addition, it will have a generation capacity of 100MW of energy, enough to supply a city of 230,000 inhabitants. The platform boasts technologies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 24%. It will be connected to eight production and eight injection wells. The Maria Quitéria started operating ahead of schedule, having originally been scheduled for 2025 in the 2024–2028 Strategic Plan.
