Ken North, district manager for Ollie's Bargain Outlet in northeast Ohio, said the company has wanted to get into this area for many years. "We finally found the right opportunity, and today is the day we're opening up the doors to provide the great brands and the discounts that we can to our locals here," he said. Founded in 1982, Ollie's is known for its discounted prices on closeout items, overstock and goods from businesses that have closed down. North said Ollie's provides customers with an exciting "treasure hunt" shopping experience. "We don't mark down our merchandise for ads when we run them," he said. "Our regular prices are what we advertise. Once we're out, it's gone. It's all closeouts." The management team celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony before letting shoppers in. The Ashtabula store, located at 1144 West Prospect Road, offers a wide variety of products, including groceries, candy, toys, clothing, automotive parts, books and more. For Ashtabula
