Getty Images When theme park operators spend billions of dollars on an expansion they don't expect the value of their company to plummet over the four months after the doors swing open, much less plummet by four times the amount they invested. However, that is precisely what has happened at one Disney resort. In June guests finally started streaming through the cave-like entrance to Fantasy Springs, the newest land at the Tokyo DisneySea theme park on the outskirts of Japan's capital city. Like a mini Mount Rushmore, models of Peter Pan and Disney princesses are carved into the rockface which separates Fantasy Springs from the rest of the DisneySea park. A portal cut into the stone leads to the lavish land which is home to a 475-room deluxe hotel, a gift shop, three restaurants and four cutting-edge attractions which can't be found anywhere else in the world.
