Summary In this update, I'll focus on Organon's Q3 2024 results, earnings adjustments and segment performance, as well as the acquisition of Dermavant. Organon reported solid Q3 2024 results with 4% revenue growth, driven by strong volume growth more than offsetting pricing weakness and currency headwinds. The $1.2 billion Dermavant acquisition appears strategically acceptable but carries significant risks due to market competition and OGN's high debt. Despite high debt and interest rate risks, Organon's dividend appears safe with a payout ratio of 30% of free cash flow. I will also explain why I upgraded OGN stock to buy from hold, despite the additional uncertainty stemming from the Dermavant acquisition and the delayed FDA decision on VTAMA.
