On Sunday, parts of northwestern Missouri and Kansas were under blizzard conditions, according to the National Weather Service. Roadways were blanketed in snow and ice, and authorities urged residents to avoid travel. State police shut down a stretch of Interstate 29 to search for stranded motorists and respond to crashes in Missouri. One of crashes was captured on camera by Gracie Fudge, who caught the terrifying moment when a semi-truck slid across multiple traffic lanes and jackknifed on a highway in Kansas City Saturday. "Oh My Gosh," a person can be heard saying in the video. "Okay, we need to call." Fudge told Storyful she was recording a different car crash when the truck started sliding over.
