While it’s no surprise that a date so close to Christmas would be so important for a business looking to capitalize on high-rolling consumers, it’s frankly ridiculous just how many of the company’s biggest releases initially dropped on this date. It’s also a big day for Game Freak–themselves empowered by Nintendo–which has released no fewer than seven games on November 21.
