Indian star Salman Khan is headed for another damp box office outing. His latest release, the Hindi film just managed to score $21.9 million in a week at the global ticket windows. Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar hit theatres on the festive occasion of Eid, an unusual Sunday release. Sikandar scores $21.9 million worldwide in 7 days For the large-scale release on more than five thousand screens, Sikandar has not delivered the expected box office results. Given the limited number of Hindi films that have scored beyond $20 million this year, Sikandar has managed to secure a spot among the top-grossing Hindi films of 2025. With the $21 million collection, is the fifth highest-grossing Indian film and second highest-grossing Hindi film of the year. Vicky Kaushal's war saga Chhaava remains the top scoring Indian film of 2025 and will soon be streaming online on Netflix starting April 11.
