PITTSBURGH, April 28, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NeuBase Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: NBSE), a preclinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing next generation therapies to treat rare genetic diseases caused by mutant genes, announced today the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 5,250,000 shares of its common stock, at a price to the public of $6.00 per share. The gross proceeds to NeuBase from the offering, before deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and offering expenses payable by NeuBase, are expected to be approximately $31,500,000, excluding any exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares of common stock. In addition, NeuBase has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 787,500 shares of its common stock at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions, to cover over-allotments, if any.
