SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 23, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Meritage Homes Corporation (NYSE: MTH), a leading U.S. homebuilder, announced today that, due to the ongoing public health impact of COVID-19 and to support the health and safety of its stockholders and employees, the 2020 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the “Annual Meeting”) of Meritage Homes Corporation will now be held in a virtual format only. Stockholders will not be able to attend the Annual Meeting in person. The time and date of the Annual Meeting have not changed. As previously announced, the meeting will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. local (Arizona) time.
