MGM Resorts International tapped NBCUniversal executive Donna Langley to join its board of directors, the company announced Wednesday. Langley, who currently serves as chairman of NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios, will bring “deep and valuable experience in the entertainment space” to MGM's board, according to CEO Bill Hornbuckle. “Donna is globally recognized as an innovative and influential leader with a special skill for reshaping industries, invigorating brands and leading organizations through change,” said Hornbuckle, who was appointed national chair of US Travel Association's board last month. Langley's entertainment background and experience in areas like content strategy, programming, distribution and marketing “will be invaluable” to MGM and its leaders, Chair Paul Salem said in a statement.
