VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 19, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Methanex Corporation (TSX:MX) (NASDAQ:MEOH) (“Methanex”) announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Methanex US Operations Inc., has priced an offering of US$600 million aggregate principal amount of 6.250% senior unsecured notes due 2032 (the “notes”) in a private offering (the “Offering”) exempt from the registration requirements of the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”). The size of the Offering was increased to US$600 million from the previously announced Offering size of US$500 million in aggregate principal amount of notes. The notes will be issued at a price of 99.289% of the aggregate principal amount, with an effective yield to maturity of 6.375%, and will be guaranteed on a senior basis by Methanex.
