On the menu of the coffee chain, a grande Caramel Frappuccino is listed at around $5.65 and a grande brewed coffee is about $3.65. But these days, customers are getting their drinks for half the price. The beloved coffee chain has long abstained from offering deals, but with inflation driving people away from cafés and to their at-home coffee machines, Starbucks has begun to dish out deals on a regular basis. “It's better to just do it at home,” Talib Morgan, a 50-year-old consultant from Scotch Plains, New Jersey, told the Wall Street Journal Morgan admitted to cutting back on his Starbucks purchases to once every couple of weeks due to high prices and slow service. According to documents obtained by WSJ, Starbucks ran promotions for about half the month of May, including their yearly “Happy Hour” deal. “50% off a drink.
