TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Li-Cycle Holdings Corp. (NYSE: LICY) ("Li-Cycle" or the "Company"), a leading global lithium-ion battery resource recovery company, today announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering in the United States (the “Offering”) to offer and sell units consisting of (i) common shares (or pre-funded warrants in lieu thereof) and (ii) warrants to purchase common shares.In addition, the Company expects to grant Aegis Capital Corp. a 45-day option to purchase additional common shares and/or warrants representing up to 15% of the total common shares and up to 15% of the total warrants sold in the Offering solely to cover over-allotments, if any.The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the Offering for working capital and general corporate purposes.The Company’s common shares trade on the NYSE under the symbol “LICY”.
