Rausch Coleman Homes a national homebuilder headquartered in Fayetteville was bought by a maimi-based builder, Lennar Corporation, according to a news release from the company. Fayetteville declares housing crisis in city “Lennar will acquire Rausch Coleman's homebuilding operations, which expects to deliver approximately 5,000 homes with an average sales price of $230,000 in calendar year 2024,” the release states. The release said this investment will expand the company's market and add to the 2025 growth. The National Association of Home Builders listed Lennar as the second-largest U.S. home builder behind Arlington, Texas-based D.R. Horton. Statista reports the company made nearly $32.5 billion in 2023. Talk Business and Politics reports that Rausch Coleman, is the nation's 21st largest home builder, according to Builder magazine, with 4,437 closings and revenue of $1.05 billion in 2023.
