Most of us will have to wait a good long time to find out, but those impatient to experience the possible future of aircraft can give Joby Aviation's four-seater air taxi a go in the newly released Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The latest version of the game was released this week, with support for a range of Nvidia graphics technologies . Beyond technical leaps forward, the game also includes the ability to fly Joby's electric air taxi, or electric vertical take off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. In the game, the air taxi can be flown anywhere in the world that has a helipad or airport — including, the company was quick to stress, the demo route the Joby aircraft flew last year between the real JFK Airport and Manhattan.
