company to Outperform from Peer Perform after meeting with HOOD Chief Financial Officer Jason Warnick. "We see a durable +30% GAAP EPS growth algorithm supported by 20%+ net deposit growth, 5%+ account growth, significant operating leverage (90% fixed expense base, 75% incremental margins), and strong FCF [free cash flow] generation," analyst Steven Chubak wrote in a note to clients. Under his base case, the analyst sees a credible path to 2026 GAAP EPS of $1 and implies a price target of $29. Note that that's still below Robinhood's ( HOOD IPO price of $38 in 2021. The upgrade, though, is not a bullish view on crytpo price appreciation or meme stock resurgence, he noted. Chubak's Outperform rating on HOOD contrasts with the SA Quant rating and the average Wall Street rating , both at Hold, and agrees with the average SA analyst rating of Buy.
