The acquisition, expected to close in the first half of 2025, will help Robinhood's customers connect with registered investment advisers (RIAs) and expand its advisory business. TradePMR has over $40 billion in assets under management and serves the $7 trillion RIA market. The deal is part of Robinhood's efforts to become a full-fledged financial services provider and compete with traditional brokerages like Charles Schwab and Fidelity Investments.
