NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Halper Sadeh LLC, an investor rights law firm, is investigating whether the merger of HomeStreet, Inc. (NASDAQ: HMST) and Mechanics Bank is fair to HomeStreet shareholders. The proposed transaction values HomeStreet at a pre-transaction estimated equity value of $300 million.
