Givaudan sales rise across all units, regions Switzerland’s Givaudan SA (GIVN.EB) said Thursday that sales in the first nine months of the year rose, buoyed by growth across all segments and geographies. Sales climbed 15% to 4.66 billion Swiss francs ($4.69 billion), said Givaudan, maker of scents, flavors and active cosmetic ingredients. On a like-for-like basis, sales increased by 6.4%, it said. The company’s fragrance division posted sales of CHF2.09 billion, up 11% from the same period a year earlier. In its flavor division, sales rose 17% to CHF2.58 billion Givaudan said. The company said that it continues to raise prices in order to offset higher input costs.
