MALVERN, Pa., Nov. 06, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Galera Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: GRTX), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing a pipeline of novel, proprietary therapeutics that have the potential to transform radiotherapy in cancer, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 5,000,000 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $12.00 per share, for total gross proceeds of $60.0 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses payable by Galera. All of the common stock is being offered by Galera. In addition, Galera has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of its common stock at the initial public offering price less the underwriting discounts and commissions.
