Considering that both Parex and GeoPark trade at free cash flow yields of around 20%, I view Ecopetrol's free cash flow yield of around 15% as highly compelling. Compared to those two junior producers, a meaningful portion of Ecopetrol's EBITDA comes from assets producing recurrent cash flows like pipelines and refineries, among others. If the social environment continues to deteriorate in the northern part of the country, production halts could potentially materialize, although this has not been the case so far.
