Of course I took Waymo to and fro, which were great experiences as usual. If it seems like my enthusiasm for the autonomous vehicle company knows no bounds, it isn't because I believe they're beyond reproach. Whatever adulation I throw their way for enabling disabled people to travel with more agency and autonomy, the good cheer surely is tempered by healthy doses of reality—nobody is perfect, after all. For one thing, I wish Waymo would consider making a watchOS app. As a devout Apple Watch wearer since its debut in 2015, I would love it if I could tap my Apple Watch a few times to summon a car and keep track of its location. Admittedly, watchOS apps are hardly software du jour —I use very few in day-to-day use, with the most being the ones bundled with the system like Fitness, Messages, and Reminders.
