LA CROSSE, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kaplan Professional announced today that it will offer free online education and skills development courses to individuals who have been furloughed or laid off from their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.“Kaplan Professional is in a unique position to help people build skills that can be applied in both their personal and professional lives,” said Andrew Temte, CEO of Kaplan Professional. “We have an obligation as educators to help those whose careers have been impacted by the coronavirus to develop new proficiencies necessary for success as they prepare themselves to re-enter the workforce.”Kaplan Professional has created a self-enrollment portal, powered by Thought Industries, which will permit individuals to choose from a variety of online training courses that aim to help people develop and hone both personal and career skills.
