While Globalfoundries' overall revenue declined, it was ahead of expectations, and management's guidance was also better than expected, perhaps indicating a bottom in the cycle. In the third quarter, Globalfoundries saw a 6% year-over-year revenue decline to $1.74 billion, with adjusted ( non-IFRS ) earnings per share down by 25% to $0.41.
