Stephen Simpson 19.83K Follower s Follow Summary Despite a weak retail environment in China, Fast Retailing reported healthy fiscal Q3 earnings with better-than-expected revenue growth and margin leverage. Uniqlo Japan grew 10% on 9% comp growth, while North America and EU likewise saw strong local currency growth; sales in the China region declined around 4%. The company has ongoing long-term growth opportunities in multiple markets, including Japan, North America, Europe, and China, with digital/e-commerce sales likely to drive improving FCF leverage. The only downside to the Fast Retailing story is the valuation, as even a robust 35x multiple doesn't really point to a meaningfully higher fair value today.
